Surreal in art – Portrait Double

Surreal in art

Surreal in art is the representation of certain aspects of reality through the visualisation of unreal objects. The double portraits could be an example.

Duality surpasses singularity; this is a universally acknowledged truth, as we all exist within the intricate web of human connections. Our lives intersect with others, shaping our very existence. A portrait, in its essence, captures a unique image of an individuals, encapsulating their being within the contours of their head and face. Today, I aim to delve into the profound depths of duality, highlighting its richness while acknowledging its potential for complexity and harm.

In the year 1997, the series Surreal in Art – Portrait Double came into being. These graphic works were crafted using a distinctive technique, resulting in a limited edition of only 30 pieces.
