Drawings and Sketches are an attempt

The technique of drawing, and especially the quick drawing that is sketching, makes it possible to make many attempts to write down even complex and undefined things or concepts. One of these is the concept of duality.

The theme of duality is a prominent feature in my artwork. By utilising two distinct forms of the human figure, I am able to convey profound messages that often elude verbal expression. In this series, I explore the concept of couples, specifically a man and a woman, and delve into the intricate dynamics of their relationship. Through the juxtaposition of a female figure with a male figure, I am able to capture the nuances and disparities between them, allowing me to create compositions that exude varying degrees of tension, much like the complexities of real-life relationships.

These drawings are crafted on paper using the pen and ink technique.
